My journey with… natural cosmetics #1

I love natural cosmetics. Since last year I got rid of/used/gave away almost all the cosmetics which contained possibly harmful substances or elements which don’t degrade in the ground. Mostly because I live in the countryside and the water we use goes straight into the earth but not only because of that…

I love my body and would love to only put things on it which are natural, preferably bio and which contain no plastic.

That’s why I decided to try Khadi shampoo which contains only a mixture of herbs and is based on ajurvedic recipe. Here’s how it works.

First, take a few spoons of the powder and put it in a bowl. I use three spoons and it’s enough for me but if you have thick and long hair your might use four of five.

Put hot water inside and mix your herbal mud. Leave it to cool down.

Put the mud on your damp hair, massage it into your scalp and hair, and leave for 10-15 minutes.

You won’t believe it but the “shampoo” cleans hair completely. With no foam, no chemicals… just herbs. Only leaves a gentle herbal scent, but well… I personally don’t mind 😉

I strongly recommend it to everyone searching for natural shampoos!
